The 600-Hour Basic Esthetics Program at Virginia Institute of Beauty & Esthetics (VIBE) provides professional esthetician training in Woodbridge, Virginia for students preparing for Virginia licensure. Our state-approved hybrid program combines online theory, hands-on esthetics training, and supervised student clinic experience in professional skincare, facial treatments, skin analysis, waxing, hair removal, makeup, sanitation, and client consultation.

Students receive structured academic instruction, guided technical training, and supervised clinical experience designed to prepare graduates for the Virginia State Board examination and esthetician licensure through the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR).

Students progress from guided practical training to supervised services with real clients in the VIBE Student Spa Clinic. Under the direct supervision of licensed instructors, students build hands-on experience performing services such as facials, waxing, hair removal, and body treatments while developing professional consultation, sanitation, and client-care skills.

The Basic Esthetics Program follows a structured progression model designed to build competence, confidence, and readiness for the Virginia State Board examinations.
PHASE 1
Foundational Instruction
Students begin with classroom-based theory, demonstrations, and safety training to establish a strong foundation in skin science, sanitation standards, and Virginia regulations.

VIBE's 600-Hour Basic Esthetics Program provides the theory, practical training, supervised clinic experience, and professional preparation required for Virginia esthetician licensure.
